Rundown Property
Review From: Shyam, Jun 9, 2008
I visited this motel almost after 14 years and was very disappointed by the look of things. It seemed that time has taken its tool on this property, which was once very beautiful and well-maintained. I was glad to see that the natural beauty of the hotel grounds and the location within 100 yards of the lake were still picture perfect. The area had a quiet setting with lots of tall trees and a beautiful lake, which is a few yards across the street. There was also a hot tub and an elevated deck out over the water as well as a fishing pier and a small sandy beach. I'm not going to provide extensive details about the rooms as they were in miserable condition. My room in this lakefront property was OK but it had a malfunctioning shower and a sliding door on the balcony, which wouldn't lock. I had to move into another room with a noisy air-condition for the night to ensure my security. The next day, I moved out of the motel as the staff and their hospitality left much to be desired. Can't recommend this place as I myself couldn't stay there for more than a single night; that, too, because I didn't have an option!
